Volkswagen was charged with 60 counts of breaching the Canadian Environmental Safety Act by importing autos that didn’t conform to prescribed emission requirements, Atmosphere and Local weather Change Canada mentioned.
The costs included two counts of offering deceptive data, and a courtroom listening to is scheduled for Dec. 13 within the Ontario Courtroom of Justice.
